On December 6, 2010, UAEM submitted its amicus curiae brief in the case Association for Molecular Pathology, et. al. v. US Patent and Trademark Office, et. al.  The amicus brief argues in favor of the Plaintiffs-Appellees and advocates against the patenting of isolated DNA and other related patent claims made by Myriad.
