The "Statement of Principles and Strategies"

The Statement of Principles and Strategies for the Equitable Dissemination of Medical Technologies (SPS) is a document written by members of the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM), and endorsed by many top research institutions as well as the NIH and CDC.

This document followed several years of discussion between UAEM and many of the university technology transfer offices that ultimately wrote or endorsed this document. UAEM sees this as very much a step in the right direction, and we applaud and welcome this development, though with some reservations and recommendations for improvement.
