Student empowerment

The mandate of UAEM's Empowerment Working Group is to create and maintain tools that enable students to successfully begin and lead effective chapters. This includes management of chapter outreach and chapter outreach tools both within the US and around the world, along with management of the national website. In addition, the empowerment group is responsible for organizing the annual the national conference.

Our work includes:

• Publishing a quarterly newsletter
• Organizing the annual UAEM conference
• Organizing the annual Global Access to Medicines Month
• Maintaining and creating resources for chapters (e.g. educational and promotional documents)
• National and international chapter outreach and communications
