At a rally in Bridgeport, Connecticut, HIV/AIDS activists from Yale and Harvard Universities, including key UAEM students, protested President Obama's unmet promise for increased HIV/AIDS funding. After chanting "Fund Global AIDS" from the crowd, Obama addressed the protesters directly. "You've been appearing at every rally we've been doing," he commented. UAEM student activists have been persistent in their efforts to hold the President accountable to his promise of increased funding.
