Content Moderation

Generally, at the time of design anonymous users cannot be contributors. Registered users who are not Site Administrators or Content Managers can still contribute to the site however their submissions must be approved by a Content Manager or Site Administrator before being published on the site

Users are informed when their contributions have been entered into a moderation queue and are told that they will be informed when their content is approved (or rejected)

The Content Managers now have the responsibility to regularly comb through the moderation queue and review the submissions. Submissions can be approved or rejected and there is a field for entering the reason why. The result along with the reason gets emailed to the user who submitted the content during the next cron run.
